Congratulations to our Thursday Midweek Ladies team who won the Grand Final during season 1 of this year’s WDTA season.
Voula Ziogas, Trish Bird, Kerry McDougall, Pat Sinclair, Pat Sefton and Nicole Udry make up the B Grade 2 team, who defeated Holy Saviour in the Grand Final 4 sets 2 and 42 games to 22.
It was been a great season from the team, winning 9 matches and losing 5 on their way to finishing 2nd on the ladder in the home and away season. In doing so, the team also received the Lorraine Clark Memorial Trophy from the WDTA which is proudly displayed in our trophy cabinet at the club.
Well done to the team and best of luck for season 2 which is currently underway.
