MCC Glen Iris valley has had another great home and away season in the WDTA junior competition with 15 teams making it through to the semi-finals this weekend. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all 25 teams, players and parents who took part in the summer season. We are hoping it can be another successful final series for the club.
Due to a large number of teams making the finals, we have had to move a few of the finals to outside venues and away team venues. This is a not decision we take lightly, as we believe every team that finishes in the top two should earn the right to play a home match. Unfortunately, we can only fit 5 matches at our club due to the WDTA rules.
Below is a summary of all teams that made finals and where their semi-finals will be played:
RUBBERS:
- A Reserve 2 (Red): Felipe, Joel and Joshua finished 1st on the ladder with a percentage of 117.
Semi Final: Home match Vs Nottinghill Pinewood (Green) ** Match to be played at Fleet St Mount Waverley** - A Reserve 2 (Blue): Harrison, Sahil and Adam finished 2nd on the ladder with a percentage of 112.
Semi Final: Home match Vs East Malvern - B Special 1 (Gold): Jack, Magdalena and Daniel finished 2nd on the ladder with a percentage of 137.
Semi Final: Home match Vs Legend Park - B Special 2: Tom and Oliver finished 4th on the ladder with a percentage of 129.
