Our club is saddened by the passing of Peter Richardson, a former Chairman of the MCC Tennis Section and a Life Member of our club. Peter was a keen tennis player, having represented MCC in B Special Pennant. He was on the Committee of the MCC Tennis Section for 30 years and was the Chairman of the Section for over 10 years. His working career as the Promotions Manager for Spalding also kept him close to tennis over the years.
Peter was also a 50-year member of the Kooyong Tennis Club and was a regular on the courts there every Saturday afternoon until his recent ill health.
He will be missed by all in the tennis community.
